Description
The TKE pumps are vertical two-cylinder force pumps of double operation.
In standard execution the TKE pumps are driven by an electric motor of direct current or alternating current of frequency 50 Hz. At the customer's request GZUT also manufactures and delivers the pumps designed to work in the systems supplied with alternating current of frequency 60 Hz.
Principal dimensions of the pumps and connection pipes are given on the chart and drawings.
The TKE pumps are designed to pump fresh water, sea water and oil of viscosities up to 5oE (corresponding to 38,2 centistokes). In case of using the TKE pumps for other media you are requested to consult the producer.

GZUT recommends isutalling the TKE pumps in the following systems:
- bilge
- ballast
- fire
- rest
- as auxiliary pumps.
The TKE pumps can operate in the systems of manual, automatic and remote control.

Operating range
The TKE pumps are designed to pump liquids in the following
temperature ranges:
- for fresh water and oil - up to 60oC
- for sea water - up to 45oC.
The capacity ranges and pumping heights for different TKE pump sizes are given on the chart and diagram.

Materials
The TKE pump casing is made of grey cast iron. All the parts of the pump being in contact with the pumped medium are made of sea - water resistant materials.
Acceptance
The TKE pumps are manufactured in accordance with the regulations and requirements of the following clas-sification societies:
- Polish Register of Shipping
- Lloyd's Register of Shipping
- U.S.S.R. Register of Shipping.
